Following on from the participating in 'Getting Started' we have the exciting news that Georgie has been selected to take part in the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s new initiative - Getting Started: Stars in the Making 2021-22, putting jewellery and silversmithing talent in the spotlight and championing early career makers.
As a spot lit ‘Star in the Making’, Georgie will be taking part in an online Meet the Maker event, where she’ll be discussing her practice and inspirations, and be featured for one week on the Centre’s Instagram channel.
This Meet the Maker event is coming up on Wednesday 30 June at 1pm hosted by the Goldsmiths' Centre.
This is free online event, you can register for tickets on the Goldsmiths Centre website via this link. Along with two other talented jewellers - Isla Cruikshank @and.ilc and Agata Karwowska @agatakarwowska_jewellery - Georgie will be talking about her jewellery practice, inspirations and more.

All spotlit Stars in the Making participants successfully completed the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s Getting Started 2021 Online course. They also received further business skills training, tailored to their needs, helping them to build their confidence and best present their work in person and online.
